Privacy
This page describes the data collected by the FastCompanys newsroom features. Updated November 5, 2026.
Information you choose to share
The newsletter form stores your email address and the time you consented in a private WordPress record. The contact form stores your name, email, selected topic and message. Administrators can review these records to manage the publication and respond to requests.
Cookies and site operation
WordPress uses cookies for authenticated administration. Article pages may set a small first-party cookie lasting four hours to avoid repeatedly counting the same browser toward a story’s readership. Form abuse controls temporarily use a salted hash of the connecting address; the form feature does not retain the plain address in its submission records.
External links and media
Source and sharing links lead to third-party services with their own policies. Editorial images are served from our media library. Hosting and security providers may process request logs as part of operating the website.
Newsletter and contact preferences
Signing up records your consent to the Briefing. Campaign delivery is not yet connected to an external mailing service. You can ask to withdraw consent, access, correct or delete a submission using the contact form. Please use the same email address so an administrator can assess the request.
Retention and updates
We retain submissions while they are needed for their stated purpose and review requests for deletion. We may update this page when the site’s features or providers change. Do not submit sensitive personal information through the newsroom form.
